Forbes Leads Letter To Navy On Religious Protections For Military Chaplains

Congressman J. Randy Forbes (VA), Founder and Co-Chairman of the Congressional Prayer Caucus, led over 30 Members of Congress in sending a letter to Ray Mabus, Secretary of the Navy, and Rear Admiral Margaret Kibben, Chief of Chaplains for the Navy, urging the Navy to reinforce policies currently in place that protect military chaplains’ freedom to practice their religion according to the tenets of their faith.



Senators Lankford, Cruz Introduce Resolutions To Protect Religious Freedom Of Washington D.C. Organizations

Senators James Lankford (R-OK) and Ted Cruz (R-TX) today introduced two resolutions to overturn recently enacted D.C. Council legislation that undermines religious freedom. In January, the District enacted the Reproductive Health Non-Discrimination Amendment Act of 2014, which could require employers to provide health plans that cover abortion services, and the Human Rights Amendment Act of 2014, which would force religious schools to support activities that violate the tenets of their faith.



Religious Tensions Simmer Across Pakistan Following Church Bombings

At least 17 people, including two policemen, have succumbed to their injuries from the suicide attacks in Lahore’s Youhanabad area, which targeted Christ Church Youhanabad and St. John’s Catholic Church during Sunday Mass. Christians on Monday (March 16) filled roads to protest against the attacks, and one Christian youth was killed and 15 others were wounded in Lahore as violent protests spread from Youhanabad to other parts of the country.

FBI Commands FAA To Ground (censor) Florida Family Association Aircraft With Banner That Stated ‘AIG SPONSORS JIHAD TV’
