At Prayer Breakfast Obama Defends Modern Day Islam and Attacks Christian History

President Barack Obama used the occasion of the National Prayer Breakfast to once again defend Islam. (Talk about chutzpah!) He did it using a tactic he has used before – Attacking Christian history.

Senate staff said they were “surprised” by the number of cards and letters received from Americans protesting against arming “moderate” Islamists in Syria / The $500 million Congress authorized for Obama’s Sunni fighters in Syria was NOT our tax money / Saudi Arabia now paying the United States to train its mercenary army in Syria / There was a hard fought attempt to stop the funding of the so called Free Syrian Army in both the House and the Senate

A Syrian woman agreed to carry a hidden camera to film how life is like inside Syria’s northern city of Raqqa, which has been under the control of the Islamic State (aka ISIL or ISIS). The report was aired on France 2. Video shows some French women who decided to move indefinitely to Syria while abandoning their previous lives in France.

Many leaders have been stating that the Islamic State’s actions are ‘unprecedented’, ‘extreme’, ‘unique’, or even ‘eccentric’. The actions of Islamic State’s adherents are morally repugnant in the extreme, but only by applying historical amnesia and selective vision could one claim that their evil is unique or unprecedented. The Islamic State’s actions are also not unique in history.
