Qatar along with Saudi Arabia have invested $5 billion in the Syrian civil war. The goal of Qatar is to bring Sharia law to the secular Syrian state, the type of law practiced under the absolute undemocratic rule of royal families in Qatar. In an exclusive story two days ago The Guardian newspaper revealed the horrid facts of the treatment of “quest workers” in Qatar, who are the equivalent of slaves, used to prepare for the prestigious World Cup.
