Senator Lankford Secures Change To DHS Religious Freedom Language

Senator James Lankford (R-OK) has applauded the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) decision to change its documentation to accurately reflect America’s First Amendment right of freedom of ‘religion’, and not just freedom of ‘worship’. Last year, Lankford urged the Department to make this change. Last Thursday, DHS issued a notice to the public that they are currently in the process of updating all relevant internal and external publications, including test study materials, to reflect this ‘freedom of religion’ change in terminology.

Frank Gaffney, head of the Center for Security Policy (CSP) has just posted an alarming news story about Mohamed Elibiary, a Muslim who served for five years on the Department of Homeland Security Advisory Council. It is Elibiary who is responsible for the purging of FBI training documents of any materials that might be considered offensive to Muslims.

Romeike Family Can Stay In U.S Indefinitely!

The Romeike’s, a German Christian homeschooling family that faced deportation by the Obama Administration, was given a reprieve by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) yesterday. In a surprise move, the DHS called Michael Farris with the Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA) and informed him of the DHS decision to let the Romeike’s stay in the U.S. indefinitely.
