For many years any criticism of Islam in any context, even terror, was forbidden at the Conservative Political Action Conference or CPAC. In 2015 something changed – perhaps funding sources – that allows for an examination of Islamic extremism and terror.

Conservative Political Action Conference To Feature Religious Freedom Speech

The annual CPAC conference, which begins today in Washington, D.C., will feature a speech this Saturday by Dr. Ben Carson, a retired pediatric neurosurgeon. Carson is famous for openly chiding President Obama during the 2013 National Prayer Breakfast. Dr. Carson’s speech will deal with Obamacare, the abortion mandate and the Obama Administration’s continued violation of religious freedom.
