Christmas Events Begin in Middle East

The Christmas program for 2018 will serve nearly 10,000 children. There were four Christmas events for children the first week of December. Of those four, two were held by brand new churches founded by Syrian refugees. Christmas programs are directed differently in Lebanon because of the sheer number of events and the distances between them.

Nigeria Christian Boy Attacked For Holding Onto Bible

A Christian boy in northeastern Nigeria was still recovering of serious injuries Thursday, December 11, after Islamic militants attacked him for holding onto his Children’s Bible, well-informed sources said. After Christian worshippers were attacked Sunday, November 22 in Attagara village, the three-year-old boy reportedly ran home when suspected Boko Haram fighters grabbed him and forcibly sat him down.

Anti-Christian Death Threats Force Closure of Bridge of Hope Center for Children in India

A local Gospel for Asia-supported children’s education and healthcare center in a cluster of villages in eastern India has been forced to close because anti-Christian extremists marched on the facility, demanded its closure and issued death threats to the staff.

The ultimatums of violence and death took place Nov. 16 as protesters shouted anti-Christian slogans to prohibit the programs offered by the Bridge of Hope Center to 100 impoverished low-caste and Dalit children.

Boko Haram Islamists Kill Nine Children In Nigeria

The Nigerian Islamic terrorist group known as Boko Haram (which means “western education is sinful”) has just admitted to killing nine children in northern Nigeria. Their crime? They were helping the Nigerian army defeat the Islamists operating in the area. This is the second attack on children this week.
