Iraqi Christians gathered in Baghdad to mark Easter but celebrations were tempered by fears ISIS would eradicate their shrinking community, even as the army launched a U.S.-backed offensive to retake Mosul, their ancestral homeland.

Footage shows a man surrounded by a baying mob of masked insurgents reportedly in the city of Mosul which was taken by ISIS militants last week.

The Associated Press is reporting two bombings against Christian civilian targets in Baghdad, Iraq on Christmas Day. AP is the only news agency to combine the attacks in one story. As usual, most other Western media sources report the attacks separately to minimize them.
