Saudi human rights activist has been sentenced to nine years

London-based rights organization said that Saudi Arabia’s Specialized Criminal Court passed the ruling on Issa al-Hamid. He will served nine years for being critical of the despotic regime that rules Saudi Arabia. He was also banned from foreign trips for another nine years.

The Saudi government thumbed its nose at a recent Amnesty International report on its barbaric practice of publicly beheading criminals or those convicted of “blasphemy” against Islam. On Wednesday, this Islamic Kingdom beheaded four criminals in different cities throughout Saudi Arabia. This brings to 130 the number of beheadings this year.
