Christian children at Nigerian orphanage hold Christmas celebration

The Tabitha Evangel Ministries (TEM) orphanage houses about 190 children. Almost all of them are parentless. This past December they were able to celebrate a real Christmas including a puppet show, songs and games. Because none were available in the Jos area, coloring books celebrating the birth of Jesus were carried from the United States, something we rarely ever do as it is costly. But the coloring contests at the Christmas events are one of the most favorite activities for the children.

Trump and neocons cleanse a mass murderer of his sins Sanctions removed from Omar al-Bashir then imposed on Iran

The author, William J. Murray, in Darfur during war waged by the Sudan (2006)

President Omar al-Bashir of the Sudan has been indicted by the International Criminal Court (ICC) as a war criminal, and there is an international arrest warrant for him. The planning for the 1998 bombings of U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania was done in the Sudan under the watchful eye of this mass murderer, who has long practiced genocide.
This same Omar al-Bashir is now apparently a good guy in the eyes of President Donald Trump and his newly found neocon buddies. They recently removed sanctions that had been imposed on the Sudan, even though the murder of Christians continues in the Nuba Mountains under al-Bashir’s rule.
The arrest warrant by the ICC for crimes of mass murder in Darfur, and the status of Sudan as a “State sponsor of terrorism” were both still recognized and backed by the United States as recently as May of 2017 under the Administration of President Donald Trump.

Presentation of Policeman of the Year Award

One of the events I was recently a part of was the presentation of the Policeman of the Year Award by the Capitol Forum Club. This is a Club mostly made up of retired generals and admirals. Their award is given to a Capitol Hill police officer each year. This year the honor went to two officers who undoubtedly saved the lives of numerous congressmen, by engaging in gunfire the far-left gunman who targeted Republican congressmen as they practiced for an annual charity baseball game against Democrat congressmen. Both recipients of the award,  Capitol Police officers David Bailey and Crystal Griner, were wounded during the shooting.

Major problems for our Iraqi missions programs

Oct 20th, 2017 | By

The Kurds held an “independence vote” to create an independent state. The reaction of the Iraqi government was to shut down airline operations into the Kurdish region including the Erbil airport. The closure causes great problems for our aid programs in Iraq including the upcoming Christmas program for this year. Costs for aid may increase as consumer goods are goods become difficult to find.

Iraq and Syria Genocide Relief and Accountability Act Hijacked by Neocons

Sep 28th, 2017 | By

Senator Corker has crossed out every single line of the simple anti-genocide language in HR-390 authored by Congressmen Chris Smith. Senator Corker’s version of the bill makes little mention of the victims of genocide, which include Christians, Yazidis, and Shia Muslims.

Quarterly Diaper Shipment Underway

Sep 22nd, 2017 | By

Early this year I pushed hard to fund the Diapers for Refugees program 100% by the end of summer to free up our fund-raising activities for the Christmas for Refugees program. The goal for infant diapers was $72,000 and in total we raised $75,095. I announced in the Chairman’s Report and on the Diapers for Refugees Internet site that our goal had been reached. I wish I had not done that.

Christians Return to Syria- But Not to Iraq

Chairman William Murray traveled to Iraq to help with the diaper deliveries and distributions in June.

Exclusive: William Murray notes how Assad government better protects minority rights, originally posted on WND Christians in the Middle East are voting with their feet for the government of President Assad in Syria. With all that American government officials and the news media have said to condemn the secular government of Syria, surely no one

William J. Murray, the chairman of the Religious Freedom Coalition recounts the events of the 9-11 jihad attack against the United States as he lived them. Murray was on the 14th Street bridge near the Pentagon when American Airlines 77 slammed into it. He had been on the phone with a Special Assistant to President Bush discussing the attacks in New York at the time.
