Poor atheist Airmen can’t handle seeing a nativity scene — so it’s removed from an air force base immediately.

The militant atheist group known as the Military Religious Freedom Foundation has just succeeded in getting a nativity scene booted from Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina.

The nativity scene was removed shortly after an undisclosed number of Airmen complained about the scene and contacted the MRFF for help. The MRFF was only too happy to oblige.

The head of the MRFF, Mikey Weinstein called his friends at the Pentagon and swift action was taken to remove the nativity scene from the air base.

Todd Starnes reported this latest outrage from the MRFF/Obama Pentagon axis of evil:

[color-box]“The Baby Jesus has been kicked off Shaw Air Force Base in South Carolina, according to an organization who relishes any opportunity to eradicate Christianity from the U.S. military.

“The Military Religious Freedom Foundation praised officials at Shaw Air Force Base for removing a Nativity scene located near Memorial Lake on Friday. The traditional Nativity included plastic statues of Mary, Joseph, the Baby Jesus and an assortment of animals.

“Apparently, an undisclosed number of Airmen were so emotionally troubled by the sight of a manger scene that they immediately notified the MRFF.

“I can only imagine the psychological damage they must have suffered as a result of glancing at the plastic statues. I hope no one needed hospitalization, God forbid.”[/color-box]

According to Hiram Sasser at the Liberty Institute, the action of the air force base in removing the nativity scene was itself unconstitutional. This is viewpoint discrimination. Sasser noted of Weinstein: “It appears that Mikey Weinstein has a special hotline to call his friends in leadership at the Pentagon to alert them to engage in unnecessary and, in this case, unlawful censorship of private religious speech.”

Of course, he does. Weinstein has anti-Christian friends in high places at the Pentagon and it’s only going to get worse until Obama leaves office in 2017.

In the meantime, Christians who serve in the Armed Forces are being increasingly persecuted, silenced and marginalized by the politically correct thought police that Obama has installed in positions of authority at the Pentagon and throughout our government. Obama’s minions are purging the military of Christians and the expression of faith, while doing all he can to protect Islam and expand the control of Muslim fanatics throughout the world.
