The Egyptian newspaper El Watan has just exposed a network of Muslim Brotherhood operatives in the United States, according to journalist Raymond Ibrahim.

The newspaper discussed the influence that the Muslim Brotherhood has over the United States government in light of the June 30 ouster of Muslim Brotherhood tyrant Mohamed Morsi from power in Egypt.

El Watan compiled a listing of Muslim Brotherhood cells and names names in its investigative reporting.

According to El Watan, here are some of the Muslim Brotherhood operatives and organizations operating in the U.S.:

• Union of Egyptian Imams in North America, represented by Sheikh Muhammad al-Bani

• Dr. Tariq Hussein, member, American Islamic Relations Council (CAIR)

One of these Muslim Brotherhood operatives, Ahmed Shehata of the Egyptian American Organization of Democracy and Human Rights, recently penned a propaganda piece that was published in the influential D.C. magazine, The Hill. The theme of Shehata’s op-ed was that America should bring the Muslim Brotherhood back into power in Egypt in the name of “democracy.”

As Ibrahim notes: “That such a shameless piece of Muslim Brotherhood propaganda can be published in the most influential and widely read Capitol Hill publication certainly goes a long way in validating El Watan’s claims that the Brotherhood has its tentacles all around the United States’ points of influence.”
