Obama Administration Attacks On Faith In Military Endanger National Security

Retired Lt. General William “Jerry” Boykin believes that the growing attacks on religious faith – Christianity in the military – endangers our national security.

According to Boykin:

“[The attacks] will force religion to go underground and that will lead to retention problems. People of faith will not stay in the military and people of faith will not join the military. … [What’s happening] is not about declining faith. It’s about the suppression of faith and the restrictions on faith. And that impacts the military’s readiness.

Boykin continued: “I think the Air Force is more problematic now, at least in terms of reported incidents.

According to The Washington Times: “That’s due in large part to the aggressiveness of 1977 U.S. Air Force Academy honor graduate, Mikey Weinstein, and the group he founded, Military Religious Freedom Foundation, to fight back at certain shows of faith in the services, he said.”

Boykin noted: Mikey’s group in 2005 began filing a series of lawsuits against the Air Force.

Since then, the attacks have only escalated and Weinstein has allies in the Obama Administration who are helping him suppress Christianity within the Armed Forces.

In Obama’s new military, homosexual sex is fine, but praying or expressing one’s faith isn’t. Morality is upside down in Obama’s bizarre world – where good is evil and evil is good. It is a world where upholding traditional marriage between a man and woman can destroy your military career. It is also a world where Islam is elevated over Judeo-Christian values in Obama’s foreign policies.
