Despite his supposed peace process with the Kurds in Turkey, it quickly became apparent that Erdogan viewed the rising power of Kurds in Syria as a much bigger threat than the barbarian hordes of the Islamic State. While international pressure finally forced Erdogan to allow assistance to flow and Kobani was saved, the deep sense of betrayal felt by Turkey’s Kurds was profound. Erdogan’s fundamental animosity had been laid bare. His hopes of coopting them into his Machiavellian schemes were dashed, probably irreparably.

Christian schools in Turkey belonging to the Association of Churches of Jerusalem were recently shut down. Their crime? They were distributing Bibles to Syrian refugees – many of them Muslims – who have fled from the Islamic State. The church-linked schools were not only providing Bibles, but humanitarian relief.
An IT student allegedly planning a church attack in France has been arrested, the country’s interior minister said on Wednesday, just over three months after Paris was hit by a jihadist killing spree. In a baffling series of events, the 24-year-old Franco-Algerian – known to intelligence services for wanting to fight in Syria alongside jihadists – was detained on Sunday in Paris after he himself called police over a bullet injury to his leg.
Turkey is probably one of the best social laboratories in the world to prove why Islamist ideology cannot be compatible with a culture of humor, dissent and protest. It also offers a unique experience that shows how Islamists can even violate one of their religion’s most fundamental teachings for the sake of worshipping a leader’s cult personality.
Barack Hussein Obama spent the day before Christmas in Hawaii playing golf with the Islamist Prime Minister of Malaysia, Najib Razak. Why does this matter? It matters because Razak is a radical Islamist who has praised the victories of the Islamic State in the Middle East and is working to turn Malaysia into an Islamic dictatorship. Obama has found a golfing buddy who shares his belief in authoritarian government.
A 16-year-old boy has been arrested by police for making a speech that was critical of Erdogan. The boy said Erdogan was the “thieving owner of the illegal palace.” He was referring to the 1,150 palace that Erogan opened in October 2014. The boy could face four years in prison if convicted on the charges.
The nation of Turkey, which is being Islamized by its Muslim Brotherhood leader Tayyip Erdogan, has refused to become involved in Obama’s doomed effort to degrade the Islamic State in Syria. Turkey is a member of NATO, but has more in common with the Islamic State then with Europe or America. Turkey, which had been a secular state since 1923, is now increasingly Islamic and serves as a safe haven for Islamic State foreign fighters who are pouring into Syria and Iraq.
Despite its peaceful appearance Jordan for now is a “leading supplier” and “net exporter of fighters” for jihadist groups in Iraq and Syria. Most of these Jordanians have joined the Al Qaeda (AQ) affiliate Jabhat al-Nusra and the Jordanian military has clashed in the past with jihadists trying infiltrate across the Syrian border
Very few on Capitol Hill are willing to confirm the reality that the current policy of overthrowing secular governments in the Middle East and hoping for an Islamic democratic outcome is foolish. Senator Rand Paul stood alone warning against arming rebels, because it could destabilize the region
Syrian Christians who refused to embrace Islam were killed in atrocious and violent ways that cannot be described. Islamists crucified two youths in Ma‘loula, Syria for refusing to proclaim Islam’s credo, saying to them: “Perhaps you want to die like your teacher [Christ] whom you believe in.” These are actions of the Obama supported “rebels.”
