Catholics, Coptic Christians and most Protestant denominations celebrate Easter on April 8th, however, the Orthodox Church will celebrate the rising of our Lord from the tomb on April 15th. As a result bombings of churches by Muslims will occur over a two week period. Expect bombings this Sunday in the Philippines and Nigeria in particular. European churches which are for the most part just museums will probably not be bombed. On April 15th attacks are more likely in the Arab Spring nation of Egypt, but could also occur in Russia. For the most part the attacks will be ignored by the Western media. Please consider helping the persecuted church during Holy Week.
