Asia Bibi, a Christian mother of five sentenced to death on charges of “blasphemy” against Islam and over a dozen other Christians held in Pakistani jails spent Christmas Day without their families, after authorities refused requests to allow prison visits, well-informed Christians said.

Another Christian dies in a Pakistani jail!. Shaukat Ali, 35, was imprisoned in 2007 under Pakistan’s blasphemy charges. He was among several Christians held in Pakistan, including Asia Bibi, held in prison for years on this charge with out trial. His family rejected the claims of jail and police authorities of a “sudden illness.”
