The UK Daily Mail reported yesterday on an Amnesty International report on the criminal justice system of Saudi Arabia – and how unjust it really is.

The number of executions has soared ever since King Salman succeed Abdullah to rule the Saudi Kingdom.

Under Salman, an average of one person was put to death every two days – and many of them have been foreign nationals who had little knowledge of Arabic during their trials.

Most executions are carried out by firing squad or by public beheadings. The severed heads are often put on display. Many of the victims of the Saudi criminal justice system are mercilessly tortured before being killed.

Under Saudi Sharia law, Saudi citizens can be killed for a variety of “crimes” including apostasy and witchcraft.

Amnesty Internatonal’s 43-page report, “Killing In The Name Of Justice: The Death Penalty In Saudi Arabia” lists numerous horror stories about how Sharia law impacts Saudi and non-Saudi citizens in this Sunni theocratic tyranny.
