Saudi prince offers $900,000 to soldier abductors

Saudi Prince Khaled bin Talal bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud declared Saturday he would give $900,000 to whoever abducts an Israeli soldier in order to be exchanged for Palestinian prisoners. In an interview with Saudi TV, bin Talal stressed that his offer was in response to a similar offer made by a Saudi cleric who earlier this week said he would give $100,000 to anyone who would kidnap an Israeli soldier.

None of our speakers has ever – I repeat, ever – advocated violence. There are people who will respond with violence to virtually any idea, concept, or event including beating opponent’s fans at baseball games. Nashville Hotel Owner Caves To Sharia Law – Cancels Preserving Freedom Conference

The Hutton Hotel in Nashville has announced it is cancelling the Preserving Freedom Conference sponsored by the Sharia Awareness Action Network (SAAN). A senior vice president of the parent company, Steve Eckley said that his hotel has been getting threatening phone calls and letters and will not honor the contract they signed with the SAAN. Eckley told us that he wouldn’t let us on the premises if we showed up. This is the second time in two weeks that a major hotel has cancelled a conference dealing with sharia law and radical Islam. The other hotel was the Hyatt Place in Sugarland, Texas.

Islam set to be dominant religion in France

While 64 percent of French people describe themselves as Roman Catholic, only 2.9 percent of the population actually practice the Catholic faith. That compares to 3.8 percent of the population who practice the Muslim faith. The research was carried out by the French Institute of Public Opinion on behalf of the Catholic newspaper La Croix.

Not a Single Christian Church Left in Afghanistan, Says State Department

The last public Christian church in Afghanistan was razed in March 2010, according to the State Department’s latest International Religious Freedom Report. The report, which was released last month and covers the period of July 1, 2010 through December 31, 2010, also states that “there were no Christian schools in the country.”
